Hi, I’m Osgood! My foster mom calls me Ozzie. I’m an 8 month old female Australian Shepherd mix who came all the way to Needy Paws from a muddy outdoor pen in rural Missouri. My foster mom’s house is the first home I’ve ever had, and while it took me a while to get used to this house pet life I’m now really excited to find my forever home!
My dream is a home with another dog and a family who will keep helping me learn lots of new things. I’m pretty shy, and it takes me just a while to warm up to new things — but if you’re patient and have lots of treats I love to learn and play! I’m a world class snuggler, I get along with all people and animals, and already have a jump start on house training, crate training, and leash training.

Osgood is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.
If you are interested in meeting Osgood, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Osgood ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
