Meet Kamilla, AKA Kami. She is a 7 year old shepherd mix that weighs 49 pounds. Kamilla is l ong legged with a slender body. Kami is a submissive female, who is good with other dogs, and kids.  She would love to have a confidant fur sibling, or someone to play with. She is low/medium energy, but does enjoy going for walks. Kami does well on a leash, using a freedom harness. Kami is completely housebroken, and crate trained, though you need to use treats to lure her into the crate. Once she is in, she never makes a sound.

Kamilla loves going for car rides and is fantastic in the car. Kamilla is a very sweet girl, who is shy/skittish. She will need someone who is willing to give her time to adjust, and learn to trust you. Once she is comfortable with you, she will seek out affection. Kamilla enjoys being outside, so you need to have a secure fenced yard, or be willing & able to take her out often. She would probably do ok in an apartment, since she doesn’t seem to bark much at all. You do need to watch her around doors, that she doesn’t slip out.

Kamilla takes food very gently from your hand. She does a very pretty sit. We are still learning what other commands she knows. She has very soulful eyes, with beautiful eyeliner markings around them.

Kamilla ’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
