My name is Abby!  I'm a 5 yr old, 19 pound, Female Dachshund Mix.  I know I could lose a few more pounds and I'm working on it.  I was neglected by my owners, made to live outside, chased by big dogs, and didn't receive any care until I was rescued.
 
I don't mind being around some dogs, but I am very selective because any sudden movements, sometimes scares me and I become defensive.
 
I do not like young kids because at first they are ok, but then they make sudden movements and I get upset.  So my forever home should not have young children.
 
I run around my foster home and play.  I am potty trained and crate trained.  I go in and out of my crate during the day and sleep in a crate a night.
 
I would love to find a forever family that will give me the patience and time I need to LOVE YOU and you LOVE ME.  I've had such a beginning bad life and now I am so happy to be loved.  Fill out an Adoption Application and my foster mom can set up a meet & greet to see me!

Abby ’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
