Darrel is a two year old miniature Dachshund, spayed and is working on being housebroken. He is crate trained, but would much rather sleep on the couch or with his owner, than in a crate. He loves to go for walks, loves to snuggle up as close to you as he can get and be petted. Darrel would be a good companion, and will wiggle-waggle after you as you move about the house. He is a watch dog, as no one could get to your door without Darrel barking a welcome, otherwise he is very quiet. He is well behaved and quick to learn family rules. He seem to be frightened by the quick movements of young children, so would be better in a home with adults and older children.

Darrel Doxon ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
