Kelty is a gorgeous 1- to 2-year-old retriever mix who was found alone as a stray in rural Missouri. He is dog and cat friendly, and would probably do just fine with children.  Kelty is working on his manners, so will need to continue his basic training. So far he knows "sit," which he learned pretty quickly.  He is housebroken and crate-trained. He does need to be coerced to go inside his crate, but once in there, he does just fine. Kelty loves to be around people and likes to chew on antlers and other yummy chew toys. This big boy is going to make some lucky family a great pet!

Kelty ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
