My name is Star and I'm a Yorkie / Dachshund / Terrier Mix with long body & short legs and wirey hair!
I was rescued in Nov with my puppies from a bad situation. After I weaned my puppies they became sick with distemper. I never got sick but to assure I was free of any danger myself, the vet asked my foster mom to keep me for 3 months before finding my forever family.

Here are some things you should know about me:
~ I am 3 yrs old and weigh about 13 pounds with long body & short legs
~ I'm quite shy/timid, especially with men, although I will take treats from my foster dad!
~ I'm housebroke and potty outside.
~ I sleep in my crate at night, but would love to snuggle with you in bed.
~ I live with 3 other dogs and love to run and play with them so it would be great if I could have a furry brother or sister.
~ I need a fenced yard because I do zoomies around the yard!
~ My foster mom says I am a good girl, but you have to be careful when I go by the front door because she calls me a "doordarter"!
~ When I roll over, I expect some belly rubs!
It will take time for me to trust you, but if you are patient with me, I will love you forever.
When I do trust you, I will give you a few kisses to let you know.

’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
