Schroeder is guessed to be a golden retriever, maybe chow or shepherd mix. He is 2 years old and about 55 pounds.  Loves people, may be a little much for young children as he has a lot of puppy play in him still.  He's dominant with other dogs especially at first meeting.  He might be best as an only dog or with an adopter who understands how to socialize him with other dogs.  He is in a home with a shepherd/husky mix and an Italian greyhound mix.  He gets along well and plays very rough with the shepherd mix.  He probably would not do well with a another extremely high-energy dominant dog.  He's house broke and crate trained and goes into his crate easily for a treat.   He's very smart, learns quickly.   He liked to play with a tennis ball alone.  He's a very sweet boy!

Schroeder ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
