Hi, my name is Forest, my previous owner and foster mom say “Hi Friend” to me, and I really like that!! I’m an 8 month old Chihuahua mix. I’ve got a longer body like a dachshund, so i’m extra long and snuggly. I am about 10lbs. I have had all my shots, flea and tick prevention and am heart worm negative. I am a healthy little fella. I love kids and I am perfectly fine with other dogs. I walk on a leash well, and love to ride in the car. I’m still working on house training, but I’m about 90% of the way there, but I am crate trained. I also sleep through the night! I am a little shy with adults, but I love to play with kids. I love checking out the sights outside and just being with my people. I could benefit from lots of socialization and some additional training. I would love for my forever home to include a fenced in yard for me to play in and I would not do well in an apartment setting. Forest ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
