Meet Vixen!  She and her sister, Stella, were rescued from rural southern Illinois.  They were brought to a shelter after being left at an abandoned rental property.  Vixen is an 8 year old hound mix.  She is good with dogs of all sizes and is good with older children.  Vixen has been
good with the cats she has met.  She is housebroken.  She does not enjoy being in a crate, but does well being left out in her foster parents' home when they are at work.  Vixen would be happiest in a forever home with another dog. Vixen ’s adoption fee is $175.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
