About Shaggy | |
This is Shaggy. He is about 1 and 1/2 years old and is a German Shepherd mix. We rescued him from Hurricane Harvey and he is very friendly and loves belly rubs and giving his paw! His ideal home would be one where he was the only pet. He has a lot of love to give! He is Crate trained and housebroken. Shaggy would be best with older children until he learns that jumping on people is NOT how everyone wants to be greeted! ;) He gets excited on his leash but calms down quickly and is a great running and walking partner, but inside is a professional couch potato. He is currently being fostered in an apartment and is doing great, so apartment living definitely works for this guy. His foster family leaves him out of his crate while they are gone for a couple hours and he is a perfect gentleman and makes no messes. This goofy guy will make an awesome addition to a very special family!
If you are interested in meeting Shaggy, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Shaggy ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
