Star was one of 17 rescued pets that arrived recently in MO due to hurricane Harvey.  Like many of the volunteers he has needed a few weeks to decompress and relax from the stress and anxiety of weathering an massive hurricane.  He is doing wonderfully at our home and each day makes new strides at understanding a home environment.  He currently is around 68 lbs. which I believe is a smidge underweight so we will be working on increasing his activity level gradually as well as adding a few much needed pounds to his frame.  He is a relaxed, patient, and loving young man that gets along with a variety of different dogs.  If you would like more info on Star please contact Needy Paws on their website.
It is also important to be aware that Needy Paws Rescue expects our dogs to live their lives as inside pets and that will be the no different for Star.

Star ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
