My name is Spike.  I'm an 8 yr old, male Bichon Poodle Mix who is looking for a home to relax with my family.  I am considered very low energy and quite happy that way.  I will cuddle on your lap whenever you want me to be with you.  
 
I like other dogs, kids, cats and people.  I'm just an all around normal guy!  If you give me a nice home, I will spend my time making you happy petting me.
 
At night, I just lay on a pillow on top of my dog bed on the floor next to my foster parents bed.
 
I have a shortened esophagus which causes me to cough a little, but it doesn't bother me.  I just drink and eat slower.  Like other little dogs, I also have a luxating patella in my back leg so if I don't have to do steps, that would great.
 
I also have been told that I would be a great candidate to visit nursing homes so I can make people happy.  Some people might even say I'm lazy, but I'm just living the good life!

Spike ’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
