Hi, my name is Sunshine.  I'm a one-year old pit bull mix.  I was found abandoned by a good Samaritan in a state park who then gave me to Needy Paws Rescue.  I have lots of puppy energy!  I like to cuddle with my foster mom, dad, and with my young foster brothers and sisters.  I also like to play with my foster mom's dog.  

 
My foster mom says that I am mostly crate trained and potty trained but do have some accidents when I'm left at home for periods of time because I'm afraid my foster parents won't come back. Once I feel certain my family is coming back, I do great! I can sit, lie down, and am working on playing fetch.  Right now, I run after the ball but forget to give it back to my foster mom.  I love to go on walks and my foster dad is helping me learn not to pull.  
 
I would do best in a home that will take me on daily walks and will play outside with me. I can't wait to find a forever family that will snuggle with me every day!

Sunshine’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
