Marsala is a sweet, loving girl.  She's about 9 months old and 45lbs.  She loves playing fetch and will bring it right back to you to throw again and again.  She's house trained and doesn't mind going in her crate although you'll have to give her a treat for that.  She doesn't pull on a leash, but she doesn't quite get that you should stay on one side or the other and walks back and forth in front of you, not concerned about your personal space.  But she's really smart and I'm sure with just a little more practice she could be trained to walk on a leash better.  She doesn't seem to mind cats and is good with kids and other dogs.  She's a little nervous to get in a car, but once she's in she travels well and curls up or sits and looks out the window.  She's shy when meeting new people, but after a few rounds of fetch she usually warms up.  She barks when new people first come in the door and at new sounds outside, but is pretty quite other than that.  She's smart, knows basic commands and a few tricks and picks up new tricks quickly. She loves to chew on her toys and needs some heavy duty toys if they are going to survive more than a day.  As long as she has some appropriate toys to chew on she doesn't chew on other things.  She loves to be loved on and petted.  She's still young and needs to be able to get some of that puppy energy out.  She is a really great dog that listens well and can be taught.  Marsala  is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Marsala’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
