About Jewel | |
|
|
Jewel is 90% sugar but 10% spice. A wonderful companion, this Queen loves walks-even in the
rain- and does well on a leash. She enjoys car rides and hanging out near you. However, just as
some people are not huggers; this purebred Papillion is not a lap dog who cuddles. She is
happiest by you (not on you) without too much petting and makes a “snarl face” if certain areas
are touched. (Talk to her foster mom).
She is potty trained, crate trained and house broken. Jewel has no interest in your stuff, and
needs someone who will respect her boundaries as well. This Diva can be very sweet when she is
reigning over her kingdom and seems genuinely thrilled to welcome you home. She requires lots
of patience- diet and exercise- and will need at least 2 full weeks to warm up to you. Can you
help her adjust after the loss of her owner? Then please put in an application for Jewel.
If you are interested in meeting Jewel, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Jewel ’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
