Hi, my name is COMFORT.   I am a 2 year old Chihuahua long hair mixed breed.  I may be wary at first upon meeting people and other dogs but once I get to smell my environment, get to know the people and the dogs around me, I feel comfortable!  I would love to be the only dog in the family.  Would like to have someone who will take care of me, they may be single, a couple or a family with children in the grade school or high school age who have had an experience caring for a dog.

I fare well with small, older dogs.  I am not fond of small younger dogs.  I have no idea if I would do good having a cat as a playmate.  I love the outdoors, love running and walking on a leash, and love sleeping in your bedroom.

I know I am a sweet dog but I am sensitive to sounds and doors opening, and dogs barking .... and I do bark and I have a shrill or high pitched voice, sorry ....  I love playing my squeaky toys!  And I love fetching!  Squeaky toys fascinate me and I enjoy playing with them.  But I promise to be the loyal and the best fur ever friend that you can have!!

Comfort’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
