Jenni is a 1-1/2 year old Basset Blue Heeler Mix. She came to Needy Paws Rescue in January 2017 with a PDA heart murmur that required surgery. She was on bed rest for 4 weeks and had heart surgery the first week of March. She recovered beautifully and is now a normal, healthy dog. She is energetic, playful, and loves to go for walks. She is potty trained, knows sit, come and is still working on training. Jenni is always happy and loves to cuddle. She gets along with cats and large dogs. She does not like small dogs. She can be a little rambunctious, so no children under 16.

Since Jenni does best with structure, it is hard for her to meet new people without continuing her routine. Jenni will benefit most from a home with a fence and a strong leader who will continue training with her, and one that is active and enjoys keeping this sweet girl busy.

Jenni has been through a lot in her short life but is now ready to be a part of a wonderful family!

Jenni is part of our month long special. Her adoption fee is only $100!

If you are interested in meeting Jenni, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Jenni’s adoption fee is $100.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
