About Bonnie | |
Bonnie, a beautiful yellow lab mix, is 40 pounds and about 2 years old. She is crate trained and potty trained. She is good with other dogs, but tries to be dominant sometimes and needs to be corrected. She is great with people after she gets to know them, but she’s a little shy. She was great with the neighbor kids, but she was timid from them at first. She was wonderful with a 92 year old woman and her friends at an assisted living facility. She is very affectionate and just wants to be loved. She rides in the car well. She is an extremely gentle girl, though she will bark when people come to the house.
Bonnie was found running in a rural area for about 6 months with Clyde. Since Clyde has been adopted, Bonnie is now ready for her forever home. She loves attention, and after she gets to know you she will love you like no one else. She is working on basic commands, and she responds well to training treats. She has not been fully tested with kids, yet, but we think she would do best with older ones. She has been treated for heart worms and is now on preventative, she is up to date on shots, and she has been spayed. She is a sweetheart and a lover! This is a good dog, and someone will be lucky to have her in their family.
