Hi! My name is Basil and I am 1 year old a foster dog looking for my forever home and I deserve a chance. Let me tell you a little about my story…
When I play, I get a little too excited and forget how big I am. My previous owners were nervous about baby #2 on the way…so after a tearful goodbye I moved in with my foster parents. These last 5 months have been great, but my foster mommies are sad no one will give me a chance. I have high anxiety with meeting new people which sometimes causes me to act aloof. My foster mommies tell me I am getting better especially when we practice what I learned in training. I learned a lot of cool tricks that I love to show off every day when we practice them. Especially since consistency is very important with me. My foster mommies always say how smart I am with how quickly I learn new tricks like place, sit, paw, down, and come. I am a pro at going on walks and stay right at my mommy’s heels. I love to cuddle and give “hugs” when I am not playing with the kitty or other two doggies that live with me. I love to play with other dogs! I do wear a pinch collar, which originally made my mommy sad, because of the negative rumors that go along with them. But it makes me happy and I feel safe when it is on. Plus, who doesn’t love looking this stylish 24/7 with all this bling!
I would love a chance to prove I am worth it and can be the best puppy in the world. If anyone is willing to try I would love to meet you! Basil's forever home should include a fenced in yard, electric fence will not work for this pretty girl..

Basil’s adoption fee is $100.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
