Popeye is a very strong dog.  He was found as a stray, although rumor has it that a man was walking him through the small town and then the next day he was running loose, so we don't know if he just let him go or what.  He is about 2 years old and they are saying he is an American Alluant.  You would need to google that.  Anyway, he rides very nice in the car.  He would do best in a home with older kids because if he ran through the house little kids could easily get knocked down.  He would love a house with a nice fenced in yard.  I'm not sure about cats, they said he was interested in the cat toys more than the cat.  He is crate trained and housebroke.

Popeye’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
