This little cutie is Nixie, a 10 week old (born May 4) Pit Bull Terrier mix.  Nixie is very outgoing, playful and rambunctious. She loves being outside, going on car rides and playing with her toys and foster siblings.  She is good with dogs of all sizes but hasn't been tested with cats or kids.  We do not recommended her for a family with very young kids due to her enthusiastic nature.  Nixie currently weighs 14 lbs and we estimate that she will be around 70 lbs when fully grown.  She is working on house and crate training and doing great. 

  If you are interested in meeting Nixie, complete the  Adoption Application on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org   and we will contact you.  Adopters will need to live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO.

Nixie’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay  and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.  We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and we will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
