Meet Nelson, the delightful lab mix with a heart of gold and fur softer than a cloud! At just 14 weeks old and weighing in at a 15 pounds, Nelson is ready to charm his way into your home and heart.

While Nelson may be shy around new faces, his quiet and watchful nature adds a touch of mystery to his calm demeanor. With a little patience and love, he'll soon be snuggled up by your side, enjoying the warmth of your company.

Although house-training is still a work in progress, Nelson is eager to learn and would benefit from some obedience training to help him become the best furry friend he can be. But don't worry, his moderate exercise needs make him the perfect companion for leisurely strolls or playful romps in the yard.

Nelson's social circle extends to his fellow canines, as he gets along famously with other dogs. As for unique features, his soft and fuzzy fur is bound to melt your heart with every touch. Plus, he's a connoisseur of comfort, adoring his cozy dog bed and cuddly stuffed toys.

If interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
