GOOD with KIDS: Would do best with older kids due to her size and strength.
HOUSE TRAINED: Yes with regular potty breaks.
LEASH TRAINED: China definitely needs training to walk properly on a leash.
GOOD WITH YOUNG CHILDREN: She has not been tested with young children, though she may be a lot of dog for a small child
China is a confident outgoing dog, who needs to learn manners on how to greet and be around people. She loves attention, but will take over the situation if allowed.
She may to big for some apartment requirements, and would need regular exercise.
She has done fine with a 4 ft fence while loose on a long lead, and someone outside with her. She may need a taller fence if left outside alone.
Due to her friendliness, China was used as a tester dog at the shelter she came from, though these encounters were always very controlled.
China knows the commands sit, and down. She is still a young dog, who needs to be given time to respond to the commands given. She really wants to please you, and is happy to have someone spend time with her. She is not good with cats.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
China’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
